Water contamination has emerged as a major concern in the recent years. Water Quality India Association (WQIA) primarily represents the sector of the water treatment industry devoted to treating water on the homeowner’s or business-owner’s property. Whether your water arrives from a community treatment plant, municipal supply or other source, WQIA’s member companies work every day to make your water safe and hygienic for your consumption. This aspect of treatment is usually referred to as the Final Barrier that prevents waterborne contaminants from entering a home or business.

WQIA members offer a scientific method to assure the safety and efficacy of the devices consumers are purchasing for purifying their water. We provide an independent seal of approval on a variety of drinking water treatment products (which includes the commonly found water purifiers at home and offices), which is only awarded after rigorous laboratory tests, literature review and materials assessment have been completed.
Dedicated to upholding high standards of performance that make sure consumers have confidence in the people providing and servicing the treatment solutions, we provide training which results in thousands of certified professionals work every day in homes and businesses throughout the nation.
